Jiggle Mouse is designed to work entirely on your device.

We do not:

• Track user activity
• Use analytics tools
• Monitor application usage
• Access files, keystrokes, or screen content

2. Local Application Behavior

Jiggle Mouse operates locally on your computer by generating small cursor movements to keep your system active.

The app does not transmit activity data or telemetry. It may contact our service providers only to activate or validate a license and to check for product updates. It does not send your files, keystrokes, screen content, or clipboard.

3. License and Email Communication

When you purchase a license, your email address is used only to:

• Deliver your license key
• Send essential purchase-related communications (such as receipts or activation support)

Payment and license delivery are provided through Lemon Squeezy. We do not use your purchase email for marketing unless you separately opt in, and we do not sell it.

4. Payments

Payments for the directly-distributed (DMG) version of Jiggle Mouse are securely processed by Lemon Squeezy. If you purchase Jiggle Mouse through the Mac App Store, payment is handled by Apple under Apple's terms.

Jiggle Mouse does not store or process your payment information directly. Please refer to the corresponding payment provider's privacy policy for details on how payment data is handled.

5. Permissions Jiggle Mouse Requests

Depending on the version of Jiggle Mouse you use, the app may request the following macOS permissions. These are required only for the local features described below — no data is collected, sent, or shared as a result of granting them.

• Accessibility (DMG version): required to post small synthetic cursor movements via the system's accessibility APIs. The app does not read user interface elements, key strokes, or window content.
• Input Monitoring (Mac App Store version, when applicable): required by the sandboxed app to post cursor events without using the Accessibility API.

You can revoke either permission at any time in System Settings → Privacy & Security. Jiggle Mouse will stop posting cursor movements immediately when the permission is removed.

6. What Jiggle Mouse Does Not Do

For transparency, Jiggle Mouse does not:

• Read or transmit your keystrokes, screen content, clipboard, or files.
• Bypass, disable, or interfere with macOS security, screen lock, or login.
• Modify, hook, or hide itself from other applications or system tools.
• Send activity telemetry, usage monitoring data, or background heartbeats to remote servers.
• Misrepresent itself, run hidden background helpers, or impersonate the user to third-party services.

Jiggle Mouse is intended for legitimate use cases such as long-running downloads, software builds, screen sharing, video calls, and presentations. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Jiggle Mouse complies with the policies of your employer or any third party you interact with.

7. Website analytics and cookies

The website offers optional analytics through Google Analytics and Microsoft Advertising UET. These tools are loaded only after you choose to accept analytics in the preference notice. They help us understand aggregate site visits and purchase events; they are not part of the desktop app.

You can decline optional analytics and continue using the website. We store your preference locally in your browser. Lemon Squeezy may use its own cookies or similar technologies when you open its checkout; its privacy policy explains those practices.

8. Data Security

Because Jiggle Mouse does not collect or store personal data, the risk of data exposure is minimized.

We take reasonable measures to ensure the website and license delivery process remain secure.
