Installing & uninstalling
How do I uninstall Jiggle Mouse?
Moving to a new computer? Deactivate your license before uninstalling (see “How do I move my license to another computer?”).
Windows (downloaded from this site)
- Right-click the Jiggle Mouse icon in the system tray and choose Exit.
- Open Settings › Apps › Installed apps (on Windows 10: Settings › Apps › Apps & features), find Jiggle Mouse and choose Uninstall. You can also use Start › Jiggle Mouse › Uninstall Jiggle Mouse.
Note: Jiggle Mouse installs per user, without administrator rights, so it only appears in the app list of the Windows account that installed it. IT admins: sign in as that user, or run the uninstaller at %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\Jiggle Mouse\unins000.exe.
Optional full clean-up: your settings and license file are kept so a reinstall picks up where you left off. To remove them too, delete the folders %APPDATA%\MouseJiggler and %LOCALAPPDATA%\MouseJiggler.
Windows (Microsoft Store)
Open Start, right-click Jiggle Mouse and choose Uninstall.
Mac
- Click the Jiggle Mouse icon in the menu bar and choose Quit. If “Open at login” is on, switch it off first in the same panel.
- In Finder, open Applications and drag Jiggle Mouse to the Trash (or use Launchpad if you installed it from the Mac App Store), then empty the Trash.
- Optional: in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Accessibility, select Jiggle Mouse and remove it with the minus (–) button.
License & purchase
I didn’t receive my license key, or I typed the wrong email
Your key arrives by email from Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider, right after purchase, in your Jiggle Mouse receipt. Check your spam or promotions folder first.
If you entered the right email but lost the message, open app.lemonsqueezy.com/my-orders and enter that email: you’ll receive a secure link to your order and license key.
If you mistyped your email, write to contact@a2group.llc from your correct address and include:
- Proof of payment (the receipt, or a screenshot of the card/PayPal charge; it appears as LEMSQZY* A2GROUP).
- Your order number, if you have it.
- The email address you typed by mistake (your best guess is fine).
We’ll find your order and send the key to your correct address.
How do I move my license to another computer?
Each license works on a set number of computers at the same time (1, 2 or 3, depending on the plan you chose). To use it on a new computer, free it on the old one first:
Windows
Open Jiggle Mouse and click Manage license (or right-click the tray icon › Manage license), then choose Deactivate License and confirm.
Mac (downloaded from this site)
Click the Jiggle Mouse menu-bar icon; next to “License Active”, click Manage, then Deactivate.
Mac App Store
There’s no license key. Open Jiggle Mouse on the other Mac, press Start and choose Restore Purchases while signed in with the same Apple Account.
Then install Jiggle Mouse on the new computer and enter the same license key.
Old computer broken, gone, or already uninstalled without deactivating? Write to contact@a2group.llc with your order number or the email you bought with, and we’ll free the activation for you.
My license key won’t activate
If it says the key has reached its activation limit or is already activated: the key is in use on another computer (or on an earlier install of this one). Deactivate it there as described above, or write to contact@a2group.llc and we’ll reset it.
If it says the format is invalid: copy only the key itself, without spaces or line breaks before or after it.
Asked for the key again after restarting: update to the latest version from this site. If it still happens, write to contact@a2group.llc.
How do I get a refund?
Mac App Store or Microsoft Store purchases: refunds are handled by Apple or Microsoft directly, through the store you bought from.
Bought from this site: write to contact@a2group.llc with your order number.
Using Jiggle Mouse
Jiggle Mouse says it needs permission to move the cursor
On macOS, Jiggle Mouse moves the pointer using the system PostEvent privilege. macOS provides no separate settings pane for it, so applications that hold it are listed under System Settings › Privacy & Security › Accessibility. Switch Jiggle Mouse on there.
The permission lets the app generate pointer movement. It does not let it read your screen, inspect other applications or see what you type, and Jiggle Mouse does none of those things.
It’s running but my status still goes away
Some apps decide you are away from your keyboard rather than your mouse. Try a shorter interval, and check that Jiggle Mouse is not paused — it stops while you are actively using the computer and resumes on its own once you stop.
If your Mac or PC is going to sleep, check that Jiggle Mouse is running before the screen locks: it keeps the machine awake while it is active, not before it starts.
