A2GROUP LLC, a limited liability company organised under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, with its principal office at 5830 E 2nd St, Ste 7000 #16007, Casper, WY 82609, United States (“A2GROUP LLC”, “we”, “our”, “us”), is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Contact: contact@a2group.llc.
This policy covers the version of Jiggle Mouse distributed through the Mac App Store. The version downloaded directly from this website is a different build and is covered by our main privacy policy.
In short: Jiggle Mouse keeps your data on your Mac. It has no account, no sign-in and no cloud sync, it collects no analytics, and crash reporting is switched off unless you turn it on.
Your settings — movement pattern, intervals, work-hours schedule and keyboard shortcuts — are stored locally in the application's own container. They are never uploaded, and deleting the app removes them.
The app does not read your files, your keystrokes, your screen contents or your clipboard.
Jiggle Mouse is unlocked with a one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple. We never receive your name, your payment details or your Apple Account.
The application asks the App Store whether the signed-in Apple Account owns the purchase. That answer is the only thing it keeps about it, and it is kept on your Mac.
Jiggle Mouse can send anonymous crash and hang reports so that we can fix what breaks. In this version it is switched off by default, and nothing is sent unless you turn it on in Settings › General.
If you do turn it on, a report describes what the application was doing when it failed: where in the code it stopped, the macOS version and the app version. It carries no keystrokes, no clicks, no screen contents, no file names, no cursor positions and nothing about the other applications you use.
Reports are processed on our behalf by Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry). You can switch reporting off again at any time, and the application stops sending immediately.
Jiggle Mouse moves the pointer using the system PostEvent privilege. macOS provides no separate settings pane for it, so applications holding it are listed under System Settings › Privacy & Security › Accessibility.
This permission allows the application to generate pointer movement. It does not allow it to read your screen, inspect other applications or observe what you type, and Jiggle Mouse does none of those things.
The application contains no analytics SDK, no advertising identifier and no usage tracking. Nothing you do inside it is recorded or transmitted.
A2GROUP LLC does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. There is no profile of you to sell.
Jiggle Mouse is not directed to children. A2GROUP LLC does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16 years of age, or under 13 in the United States. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, write to contact@a2group.llc and we will delete it.
Because the application holds your data locally and transmits nothing by default, there is normally nothing of yours for us to access, correct, export or erase.
If you enabled crash reporting and would like the associated reports deleted, write to contact@a2group.llc and we will remove them.
If what the application collects changes, this page changes in the same release rather than afterwards, and the date above changes with it.
